We at Clientl.app (“Clientl”, “we”, “us”, “our”) take your privacy seriously. Clientl provides a customer relationship management service that enables our users (“users”, “subscribers”) to arrange appointments and manage appointment data from their customers (“end users”, “individuals”). This policy outlines our personal data handling practices for both online and offline data collected by Clientl on behalf of our users.
By using or accessing our Services, you (“users” and “end-users”) accept the practices and policies outlined below, and you consent that we will collect, use and share your information as described in this Privacy Policy.
What kinds of information do we collect?
We collect a variety of Personal Data from an End User, which can include their name, email address, phone number, job title, and government ID. We collect this information under the direction of our Subscribers and have no direct relationship with individuals whose personal data we process in connection with our Subscriber’s use of our Services.
Our Services allows our Subscribers to communicate and carry out verification, which may interact with Personal Data regarding End Users. Subscribers who undertake appointments with End Users are solely responsible for establishing adjacent policies and agreements, relating to the collection and use of personal data of End Users for verification purposes.
In connection with billing our Subscribers, we may also collect financial information such as credit or debit card numbers.
We collect information from visitors to our website, including the pages visited, how long individuals viewed each page, the devices used when visiting our website, and information from “cookies” (see below).
How do we use this information?
We use this information to
• assist our Subscribers in personalizing their services
• assist our Subscribers to carry out verification of End Users prior to an appointment
• provide our Subscribers with onboarding and support services prior to an appointment
• provide technical support, to bill our Subscribers and communicate with them regarding their accounts
• provide information and engage in promotional activities regarding our Services (e.g., email newsletters)
• provide profiles of Subscribers to enable the use of our Services, and
• improve our website and Services
How long do we keep this information?
Information related to an End User associated with one of our Subscribers is retained while the customer relationship is in place (and to complete any outstanding appointments), for use as references for future appointments, or until the deletion of the Subscriber’s account.
Information related to End Users will generally be managed in accordance with the Subscriber’s screening policies. We encourage you to review a Clientl user’s screening and verification policies before making an appointment or booking. Your continued booking with the user will signify and confirm your assent to their data retention policies.
Information related to Subscribers who are contacted for marketing and promotional purposes is retained until they indicate they no longer wish to be contacted (e.g., unsubscribing from email newsletters).
When do we share personal data?
Only the Subscriber with whom an End User has made an appointment, booking, or inquiry with, has access to the End User’s personal data.
We do not share or sell any personal data related to our Subscribers or End Users to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
How can I manage my personal data retained by Clientl?
If you are an existing Subscriber who wishes to terminate the use of your account and all Clientl Services, you may request the deletion of your account from your Clientl admin panel, or send an email request to team@clientl.app
If you believe a Subscriber is in possession of your Personal Data that is in breach of the Subscriber’s published data policies, you may contact that Subscriber directly to have it modified or deleted.
How do we secure your information?
Clientl is committed to protecting the Personal Data you share with us. We utilize a combination of industry-standard security technologies, procedures, and organizational measures to help protect your Personal Data from unauthorized access, use or disclosure.
When we transfer information over the Internet, we protect it using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology. While we strive to protect your Personal Data, we cannot ensure the security of the information you transmit. We recommend you to take every precaution in protecting your Personal Data when you are on the Internet. For example, change your passwords often, use a combination of letters and numbers when creating passwords, refrain from using public terminals, and make sure you use a secure browser.
Use of Cookies and Web Beacons
Non-personal/anonymous information collection: In some instances, Clientl may collect non-personal (aggregate or demographic) data through cookies, web logs, and web beacons. This information is used to better understand and improve the usability, performance, and effectiveness of the website. This information is transmitted back to us so we can determine how users are interacting with our Services, to assist us with improving our Services, and to correct any problems that may occur.

While navigating Clientl’s web site or using our services, you may be directed to content or functionality that is hosted by a non-affiliated third-party service. For non-Clientl sites or services, the site/service owner’s privacy policy will be referenced. You should review their privacy and security policies prior to use.
Our website and services may also include links posted by our Users to their personal websites, social media, or advertisements, which are outside our control and not covered by this policy. We encourage you to review the Users’ policies and procedures posted on these sites you visit or services you use.
